Mirror columnist Andy Dunn claims Kenny Dalglish is blinded by loyalty to Liverpool,i dont think so,he defended his player who was being treated like he had murdered someone.
Lets make no mistake any decent person thinks racism ,racist abuse, and any decent person thinks abuse of any kind whether it white person to white ,black to white ,white to black, black to black,is wrong and not acceptable on a football pitch or in any part of life.
And Dunn like so many people at the moment seem blinded by racism ,every other crime seems to take 2nd place to it,
Suarez and Evra both acted like school kids in the playground ,but people only see blame in Suarez ,Suareaz called Evra names and Evra threatened to punch Suarez, yet Evra has not been punished ,
To threaten another person with violence is against the law, whether on a football pitch or in the street, the FA had an inquiry into whether racist abuse took place ,but when it became clear that Evra had threatened Suarez they took no action,in what is possibly the greater crime.
Then on Friday night we had someone in the crowd at Anfield shout racist abuse at Tom Adeyemi ,and the racism issue is back in the news ,whoever shouted the abuse should be punished
But there are men out in Afghanistan fighting for their country, risking their lives and when they have arrived back home been abused in the streets at what was supposed to be welcome home parades
So as bad as it was at Anfield i think things should be kept in context.
And another point that seems to have been missed, and where there seems to be double standards,Suarez has been found guilty by the FA and has been giving an 8 game ban ,yet Liverpool have said they will ban the fan from Anfield for life, say Liverpool play 25 home games a season and the fan is said to be aged 20 ,say we say he lives to be 80 that 60 x 25 thats a ban of 1505 games.
Now as we have heard it said by so many people that these players are role models ,the fan and Suarez have both committed the same offence it could be said Suarez has got of lightly.
