Davie Provan

Well i have read some rubbish in my life but Davie Provan tops the lot in Sunsport today .he calls supporters of decent clubs internet revolutionaries ,internet Bolsheviks ,because they wanted integrity and Rangers demoted to Div 3 .
He says its difficult to know who to blame most the cowardly owners of the SPL or that sanctimonious collection of SFL chairmen who sealed Rangers fate,he also claims that Doncaster and Regan were correct to try and parachute Rangers in to Div 1 and only Michael Johnston the Kilmarnock chairman could find the balls to stand his ground to stand up to the internet Bolsheviks who wanted Rangers demoted.
Provan claims many lower league clubs are senior in name only ,they have no ambition no support  no money and no hope ,and that teams like Montrose and East Stirling are not as important as Aberdeen or Motherwell ,and he has a pop at the players in Scotland saying are we to believe in a sport that sees players routinely cheat and con referees has discovered integrity?

Well Davie boy all that you have Provan today is that you are way off the ball way out of touch with the feeling of supporters the length of the country and out of touch with reality along with Sandy Jardine John Brown and Ally McCoist .
First of all Provan  slags off the lower League clubs no hope no money etc well he forgets that Rangers are where they are because they had no money ,it is Rangers who got Scottish Football into the state is it in no one else ,it is the supporters of the other SPL clubs the SFL clubs the chairmen of these clubs who have had the balls to stand up and do what is right ,put the integrity of Scottish football before that of their own clubs ,yes the chairmen listened to their supporters as without supporters there is no club without clubs no League, the only coward was Michael Johnson .
Doncaster and Regan have been a disgrace ,the carry on whether  Rangers should be stripped of Titles won during the EBT tax scheme years is shameful ,they should be making it clear that they are being stripped of these Titles end off.there should have been no special license to play Brechin today,i dont understand the technicalities of what is involved in stripping Rangers of these Titles but  the SFA and SPL surely have the power to do it ?its like they need Rangers permission.Rangers as a club is over it is a new club now and has nothing to with Sevco Rangers at the moment Sevco Rangers have won nothing and very little history.
The supporters and chairmen of the lower League clubs deserve better than the pathetic comments Davie Provan makes  about them, yes maybe they have little money have a small support but they turn out and support their local team and maybe if more people supported their local team rather than turn up at their local ground twice a year to support Celtic or Rangers then Scottish Football would be in  better place .
I would say it is a disgrace to say lower league clubs have no ambition look at clubs like Ross County and Inverness for example  have shown great ambition and deserve great credit for rising through the leagues
These small clubs have survived on a tiny fraction of what Rangers had and they have done it honestly and for some maybe their ambition is survival  but it is an ambition they have achieved something Rangers greed and false ambition hasnt  achieved and for me and for the supporters of these small  clubs they are every bit as important as Rangers were or Celtic are  ,East Stirling are as important as Aberdeen ,Montrose as Motherwell ,and now Sevco Rangers as  important as Dundee United ,
Davie Provan wanted to be a coward also ,make Rangers a special case these clubs were brave they could have taken  the easy option and voted Rangers into Div 1 but had the guts to do the right thing, they have an ambition to play in a fair league an honest league.
Why The Sun employs Davie Provan to write in their paper only they will know at the top of the page it says Davie Provan frank and fearless only in the sunsport  ,yes only in the Sun cause cant imagine who else would want him .maybe the SFA OR SPL hes has the right mentality

Walter Smith ,Ally McCoist,Sandy Jardine,Rangers the Truth

Sandy Jardine ,Walter Smith and Ally McCoist what are they speaking about ?Oh my how times change

.Jardine warns SPL rivals will pay a heavy price for pushing Rangers to the brink.he has warned Rangers wont go quietly.

Walter Smiths speaks of the SPL clubs hypocrisy

He said: “The sanctions don’t include Rangers not being in the league, so there is a certain hypocrisy among the whole lot of them there.
“They have a situation where they still want the money Rangers bring to the SPL but they will try to impose sanctions that will make it impossible for them to be competitive, or as competitive as they should be.
“I think the SPL have to be very careful in terms of how they handle the situation in case something similar could happen to other clubs.

Ally McCoist says it is morally right for Rangers to go in to the 3rd division if a new club is formed but it will be bad for Scottish Football ,it would be best for the Premier League .

THE TRUTH

Rangers were not worried what was best for Scottish Football or the Premier League when they tried to join the English Premier League ,they weren't worried about leaving Scotland ,now they say they wont go quietly.
They weren't worried about committing treason when they wanted to leave the League of their country ,they are a Glasgow club from Scotland ,with a history tradition built in Scotland ,without Scotland without the other Scottish Clubs there would have been no Rangers ,they didnt care what would happen to the SPL when taking half of population of the biggest city of Scotland out of Scotland ,and they complain about people puting the boot in now when they are down, they wanted to be a special case and go to England ,and now they want to be a special case and stay in the SPL ,now Walter lets speak of >>>>>hypocrisy <<<<<<
So now they want to stay in the SPL and we all have to grateful ,McCoist  thinks it is morally right that they should go to div 3 but in the best interests of the SPL and Scottish Football they should stay in the SPL ,wasnt sure if McCoist wrote it or Jeremy Kyle ,McCoist ,says Rangers and Celtic are different because of the  magnitude of the 2 clubs ,well sorry Ally Celtic dont come into it they are not in trouble ,and at the moment Rangers are not acting have not been acting like a club of great magnitude.
They havent paid for Lee Wallace cant pay wages but want to sign players .they want their supporters to boycott away games ,want suspended sentences, want what players they have left not to play for Scotland ,they are fast loosing any sympathy or respect people had for them .
They are getting angry at every one but it is no ones fault but their own ,Rangers fans sing We are the people ,we are the people with an arrogance that has now came back to haunt them ,the sad thing is now they have to sing we were the people we were a football club

Footballs shaking at the hands of Hypocrisy

Sepp Blatter was called everything for suggesting that incidents arguments etc should be sorted out with a hand shake at the end of the game, people suggested he should be sacked ,
Yet yesterday at Old Trafford Suarez has been criticised for not shaking hands with Evra ,so perhaps Blatter wasnt as stupid as everyone thought.perhaps if when players do silly things on the pitch in the heat of the moment   it can be kept in its place by been left on the field as an incident feulled by the will to win by competitive sportsmen as Blatter said.
Because in the end all that has happened was to  delay the hand shake extend the situation and cause a new one and drag football further into bad publicity.
If Suarez and Evra couldnt shake hands at the end of the game it seemed obvious that there would be more bad feeling after the passing weeks and the hearing at the FA and an 8 game ban and less chance of shaking hands .
Wayne Rooney got a 2 game for swearing at a camera and in effect swearing at and being heard by  millions of people,Suarez got an 8 game ban for a racist comment at one man which seems to have been heard by no one.
It has been claimed the Steve Ireland swore at his manager last week yet his manager played him today,it is time that players and people in football realise that this is a game been played by adult males and things happen and things get said and unless all the players wear a microphone then we will never know what is said and the referee is one man and the there 22 men on a big pitch.
All that seems to be important to some people is racist comments ,it seems that has become worse than anything else, call someone a f------ or c--- or anything of that kind is ok as long as you dont put the word black in front of it.that is in fact almost like  a racist attack by the FA on all non black players.
I think it would be a good thing to have the hand shakes at the end of the game instead of at the start and in the same way as they do it at the start now and to have the managers do it as well on the pitch.
In wars we have people trying to kill each other but if they are captured they are taking care of ,as of yet i dont think we have had any players trying to kill each other so im sure they can manage a hand shake .any player that cant stand in line and shake hands receives a red card ,or if we persist with the hand shaking at the start of the game any player who wont shake hands cant start the game and also receives a red card .i think we would then see a better attitude ,and a better example to supporters and young children etc
I dont think we would see many supporters cheering a player who has caused them to start a game a man down.and we then might see players acting like men and not children.
What was Rio Ferdinand thinking ? Suarez didnt shake hands with Evra so im not shaking hands with Suarez ?schoolboy stuff  of the playground ,Ferdinand has tweeted and tweetd on  racism and equality ,it is time people like Suarez ,Ferdinand,Terry, and Anton Ferdinand realised they are on the pitch representing their clubs ,some players seem to forget that, and when they act as they do.
So when players tweet all day expressing their views on everyone and wonder why they suffer abuse when they step on the pitch maybe they should stop and think.
Rio Ferdinand seems a very confused man ,he was quick to have a go at Blatter becasue he said players should sort things out with a hand shake.and yesterday he wasnt happy because Suarez wouldnt shake hands with Evra.as they say football is a funny old game .

Englands false dream

Well Capello has gone now and the dream is alive again, the sportswriters are in overdrive fingers burning as they type away, and the they have chosen Redknapp ,so now anyone else who might get the job has no chance he is beating before he starts,so it seems it will be Rednapps if he wants it.
The great sportswriters who know so much so much more than the best managers maybe ,or do they?why dont they scream for one of their own,Oliver Holt for example?
They miss one thing, they seem to think Englands failure is due to picking the wrong manager,is that really why England have failed so badly since 1966 ?
Lets look at Capello,is he a bad manager?his record says no.is it the players?for some reason the press always seem to think not ,get Harry in now get an English manager ,what nationality was Hoddle?Keegan?MacLaren?
Lets look at the players, where are the world class players?the last world cup England didnt have a goalkeeper that came anywhere near that?they lacked a left sided midfield player of class,a balanced midfield and a lack of depth in the centre of defence, not to mention a right back.and also a Wayne Rooney in one of his sulking moods.
There has been improvement since the last world cup some young players are coming through ,there is something to build on ,buts thats all it is ,maybe Harry can get a bit more out of them, but that will still leave them way short of the best in Europe .
At the moment Wayne Rooney when he is at his best and kicking the ball not players is maybe just about world class but has yet to come near it at a major tournament for England.who else?Steven Gerrard?a few years ago maybe yes,now i a good player not world class,Lampard never really has been and certainly not now,John Terry has never really been he has always lacked pace and that has been more evident in the last few years,Rio Ferdinand maybe 3 years ago or more no way now ,Ashley Cole yes maybe but again a few years ago he might have been but just doesnt seem quite as good as he was.
So England have perhaps one genuine world class player in a team that is changing new players coming in and probably still trying to find out what is its best team,
Lets look at the premier league take for example Man Utd ,Man City,Chelsea, and Spurs, possibly the top 4 look at the English players Terry ,Cole,Sturridge,Lampard,Barry,Hart,Lescott,Richards,Smalling,Ferdinand ,Jones,Welbeck,Carrick,Scholes,Cleverley,Rooney,Owen,Dawson,Dfoe,Lennon, out of a squad of 20 players at each club we have we 20 out of 80, take out Scholes doesnt want to play ,Owen never fit enough,Carrick and Lescott not good enough, that leaves 16,then Terry ,Ferdinand and Cole with their best years behind them it doesnt look good, and you can look at the rest of the teams and its a similar picture.
How many English players are good enough to play for the top teams in Spain?or Germany or Italy for that matter.
Who out of that lot Rooney maybe,Ashley Cole possibly but getting to old,Hart maybe ,Sturridge might be in time, and thats it,
Maybe now we are at the problem England dont have enough good players and certainly no depth, and the solution isnt to keep convincing everyone that its the wrong manager, wrong nationality of manager, wrong age,etc etc England have been down that road so many times ,but seems they will only realise that when they read team sheet joe bloggs Brighton, right back  Millwall, left back Carlisle, central defender Hull cantral defender Mansfield, right midfield Bury etc  and the fact that there soon will be no English  players good enough to play in the Premier League ,Ghana ,Ivory Coast,Nigeria,Senegal,Mexico,Bulgaria,Serbia,Uruguay,Wales,Ireland,Northern Ireland,Scotland, none of them Football super powers all have many players in the Premier League USSR,USA,Italy,Spain,Holland,Germany, all blocking English players coming in to teams, and it increases each year, but no its the managers fault .
England have been going downhill for along time ,and until there are more English players playing for Premier League teams it will only get worse ,people spoke of a golden generation it turned out it was rusty metal,
So the sad truth is the players are just not good enough, and the players tweeting who they want as manager does not help ,whoever gets the job knows which players wanted him and who didnt, and if it isnt Rednapp who seems to be the players choice the new manager wont have much time before the players start having tantrums.
So i think one of the first things the FA can do is tell any player who wants to play for England that speaking about on twitter getting involved is such discussions getting involved in all the arguments such the Evra -Suarez   Terry- Ferdinand cases will not be chosen for England,
I think anyone could tell that Rio Ferdinand would back his brother, but it was between the FA , Terry and Ferdinand and then obviously when charged the police, but Rio got stuck in Joey Barton had his say and so many more, and situations are then created where  things which maybe could have been sorted out have developed into such large issues that certain players cant play in the same team as each other.
So there we have it more false dreams ,i hope Harry doesnt take the job he is to good for it,with England he will work with less quality than he does now ,Van Der Vart,Gareth Bale,Modric, all better than anything England have,he has been with teams that could never really challenge at the top ,he is doing a fantastic job at Spurs he is so close to doing something sensational there,at England he will become another Mclaren, Keegan,Hoddle, and i think that would be so sad.

England captain

i think the fa will a point a black player as captain to be politically correct, but if pick captain by skin colour it racist

John Terry

John Terry could not have his case dealt with by Premier League because he is been charged by the police, but the FA have stripped him of the captaincy of the England National team, what reason have the FA for doing that?
it is like the FA saying he is guilty.
Suarez has been banned for 8 games but has not been charged by the police?the FA banned Suarez which means they have evidence he was guilty.so the FA should not have dealt with Suarez until they handed the evidence over to the police and the police decided if they wanted to charge him .
If that had been done it would have been equality in the cases of Terry and Suarez ,we now have the situation where Suarez has been found guilty by the FA and no charges by the police, and Terry found guilty by the FA stripped of the captaincy but as yet no ban from matches ,and the Terry incident was in a club game not an international.
How can the FA justify its actions? perhaps the FA should be charged for with holding evidence of a crime by Suarez.

Charge Balotelli

Football is becoming a very strange game, all this racism debates,Suarez banned for 8 games for racist abuse ,John Terry being charged with racist abuse by the police  but not yet dealt with by the FA and Suarez not charged by the police,
Now we have Balotelli seen on TV stamping on Scott Parkers head ,photos of it in almost every newspaper and he is set to be banned for 4 games it seems .
A black man stamping on a white mans head ,was it racist?
When Suarez got his ban in the FA report it was said that he was a bad role model making racist comments to Evra ,gave the wrong message to young people to young players, school football etc
What message does this give out ,no one has heard what Suarez said ,it has not been heard on the TV .
Pictures of Balotelli with his foot on Parkers head have been sitting on shop shelves for everyone to see,on TV for evryone to see, what kind of role model is he?
Of all the bad tackles violent tackles the worst that can be done is to the head ,the most serious injury a person can have is to the head
He has stamped his foot into a player on the ground ,with all due to respect to racism i can see no reason why Suarez deserves twice the ban Balotelli will get,
A player can get a ban for a bad tackle ,this wasnt a tackle ,it was a stamp on a man on the ground ,the police can take John Terry and charge him ,in my opinion Balotelli has committed a far worse crime and should be charged .
It has been said that players can no longer hide behind the fact they are on a football pitch and if they break the law they will be punished well there could not be a more clear cut case than Balotelli.
The FA should have a duty to report Balotelli to the Police .he has stamped on a mans head .

Liverpool racist issues

Mirror columnist Andy Dunn claims Kenny Dalglish is blinded by loyalty to Liverpool,i dont think so,he defended his player who was being treated like he had murdered someone.
Lets make no mistake any decent person thinks racism ,racist abuse, and any decent person thinks abuse of any kind whether it white person to white ,black to white ,white to black, black to black,is wrong and not acceptable on a football pitch or in any part of life.
And Dunn like so many people at the moment seem blinded by racism ,every other crime seems to take 2nd place to it,
Suarez and Evra both acted like school kids in the playground ,but people only see blame in Suarez ,Suareaz called Evra names and Evra threatened to punch Suarez, yet Evra has not been punished ,
To threaten another person with violence is against the law, whether on a football pitch or in the street, the FA had an inquiry into whether racist abuse took place ,but when it became clear that Evra had threatened Suarez  they took no action,in what is possibly the greater crime.
Then on Friday night we had someone in the crowd at Anfield shout racist abuse at Tom Adeyemi ,and the racism issue is back in the news ,whoever shouted the abuse should be punished
But there are men out in Afghanistan fighting for their country, risking their lives and when they have arrived back home been abused in the streets at what was supposed to be welcome home parades
So as bad as it was at Anfield i think things should be kept in context.
And another point that seems to have been missed, and where there seems to be double standards,Suarez has been found guilty by the FA and has been giving an 8 game ban ,yet Liverpool have said they will ban the fan from Anfield for life, say Liverpool play 25 home games a season and the fan is said to be aged 20 ,say we say he lives to be 80 that 60 x 25 thats a ban of 1505 games.
Now as we have heard it said by so many people that these players are role models ,the fan and Suarez have both committed the same offence it could be said Suarez has got of lightly.

RACISM GONE MAD?

Is the FA saying abuse is ok as long as it is not racist?a black person can threaten to punch a South American that is ok?but use the word negro andi ts an 8 game ban,
When people over react to a situation it can be racism in reverse, when  you have a campaign such  as the FA kick it out campaign it can be racial discrimination against non blacks,
Its wrong for anyone to abuse another player physically or verbally what ever their nationality or if black or white ,that is what it should be,everyone the same.
Evra is black,is he ashamed to be black?a person can only be hurt, abused  verbally if they are ashamed of their ,nationality,or being black, yet time and time again we get these cases,
I am proud of my nationality im Scottish,im white, and see black people or any nationality as no different ,to me we are all the same
On a football field another player could call me what he wanted wouldnt bother me couldnt bother me,im proud of my background ,
Racism needs to be stamped out,but all racism, racism in reverse also, when there are campaigns  for anything every one jumps on to it and can unbalance things, everyone is on the look out for racism and its getting to the stage where other things are being  missed.
In the case against Suarez it haas come out that Evra said he would punch Suarez, during the goalmouth incident Evra lifted his hands and pushed Liverpool player, all these things been missed as we go on a racist hunt ,to the extent of obsession ,
The simple fact is if you want everyone to be equal treat everyone as equal, when you have campaigns for some you discriminate against others

THE FA CIRCUS/SUAREZ EVRA AND HYPOCITES

Well well ,what a joke,i have just read the FA comedy Suarez and Evra, here we have the FA publishing  a report deciding on what Suarez thought, reading his mind his actions in a way  that they have moved the situation into  the land of make believe,a pantomime,we have 2 men acting like children  as bad as one another.
The FA panel seem to be acting like attention seeking children who believe they are a mixture of Sherlock Holmes,Russell Grant and Charles Perrault (author of fairy tales) .
It seems these days that threats of violence such as punching someone is not an offence (from the FA report
  1. Mr Evra then said to Mr Suarez “say it to me again, I’m going to punch
    you”.  )
but to use the word negro is ,and in fact worth an 8 game ban,( wikipedia.org/wiki/Negro here is the word negro in wikipedia,)
Evra should surely have  had action taking against him for the threat and in the FA report they claim (
  1. Whilst Mr Evra is partly to blame for starting the
    confrontation  )
yet Evra it seeems is inocent of anything. that i cant understand.

It seems contradiction is what the FA are good at ,in the case when Evra backed by Manchester United  claimed that Chelsea ground staff had racially abused him, the FA said

(We find Mr Evra’s description exaggerated… There was no good reason for Mr Evra to have run over and barged Mr Griffin as he did. It was unnecessarily and gratuitously aggressive of Mr Evra…)

in the Saurez case the FA said of Evra

    (
    1. We accepted Mr Evra's account of these exchanges. The principal reasons for doing so
were the following. First, Mr Evra was a credible witness whose evidence was not
seriously undermined in any material respect,
So the casee comes down to the fact Evra was a credible witness.

What i think the FA should explain as i cant remember ,what punishment did Evra get for making false claims against the Chelsea ground staff ?
And now that they have all the evidence  in the Suarez case why is it not handed to the police for action too be taking, and why hasnt Evra reported this to the police?
The FA have found Saurez guilty they have what they call evidence ,a crime has been committed the FA have said they have the evidence, surely it is against the law to now no make this  crime known to the police.
The FA have said of Saurez

      (
      1. First, Mr Suarez is an international footballer of exceptional ability, playing for one of the
best-known clubs in the world. His position carries with it a particular degree of
responsibility. His conduct amounts to a serious breach of that responsibility
      1. The conduct
of Mr Suarez also undermines FA-supported programmes such as the anti-racism "Kick It
Out" campaign by suggesting to the young, naive and ignorant that racially offensive
        language and behaviour is acceptable.
        1. The use by a footballer of insulting words, which include reference to another player's
colour, is wholly unacceptable. It is wrong in principle. It is also wrong because
footballers, such as Mr Suarez, are looked up to and admired by a great many football
fans, especially young fans. If professional footballers use racially insulting language on a
football pitch, this is likely to have a corrosive effect on young football fans, some of
whom are the professional footballers of the future.
It also has a potentially damaging
effect on the wider football community and society generally. Every professional
footballer should be able to play competitive football in the knowledge that references to
the colour of his skin will not be tolerated. The same goes for all levels of football )
AND NOW FOR THEE PUNCH LINE OF THE FA CIRCUS/PANTOMIME

An FA boss who sent a racist email to his friends is still working for English football's governing body.

Peter Brown forwarded the offensive gag from his business account in September, just hours before Bulgarian fans hurled racist abuse at black England players.

He was due to retire at the end of last month, but he is still at the Bedfordshire FA to ensure a “smooth handover” to his successor, Keith Stroud.

Mr Brown, 65, had made a public apology and offered to quit during an investigation.)

Well this is a disgrace,Peter Brown is helping guide his successor,i can only say who ever didnt accept his resignation should be sacked,no ifs or buts as should Peter Brown ,it is beyond belief that Peter Brown resignation wasnt accepted .
In the FA Suarez report they claim Suarez has hurt the KICK IT OUT anti racism campaign ,that he has been a bad influence on young people , It also has a potentially damaging
effect on the wider football community and society generally  Every professional
footballer should be able to play competitive football in the knowledge that references to
the colour of his skin will not be tolerated. The same goes for all levels of football .

Well when i read all this ,look at  Peter Brown and the person who didnt accept his resignation ,perhaps Suarez has a case for discrimination, whether the discrimination is against Liverrpool or Suarez i dont know.
I  think when a player can walk on the field and play football in the knowledge that references to skin colour  will not be tolerated is great and well done to the FA
But also should apply to the FA themselves even more so,and a player should be able to walk the field without threats of been punched, and if they do break the rules they wont be judged by what can only in my opinion be described as hypocrites .
For the FA to  lecture people write  that report telling everyone how they are expected to behave,to tell Suarez how bad he is how unacceptable his behaviour was how he has harmed the kick it out campaign ,while still employing Peter Brown and his boss is shocking
Im sure the FA  must have  been  sitting there writing more reports and thinking about the John Terry case coming up and how they can preach to us all again,
        Well black or white we are all the same ,except for the FA they are red they must be sitting there with  red faces ;
